One area of cyclonic circulation is over southwest Uttar Pradesh and the other over south Chhattisgarh at subtropical level. These weather changes in the subtropical layers are due to the change of winds from East Vidarbha to the interior of Tamil Nadu. Its impact will be seen in North West India for the next three to four days.
What will the weather be like for the next five days?: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, ‘Light to moderate rain, snowfall, lightning and strong winds are expected at many places in the Western Himalayan region during the next five days. Apart from this, widespread rain with lightning and gusty winds may occur in the plains of North West India.
According to meteorologists, hail is likely to occur at various places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh till May 2. Uttarakhand during the next five days, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during May 1-2, Rajasthan on May 3 may receive hail. Heavy rains are likely over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu on May 1 and 2, West Rajasthan is forecast to have winds with dust storms at isolated places during May 3-4.
