Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ is now becoming super-severe
Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ formed in the Arabian Sea is now becoming extremely severe. The cyclone is currently moving towards Gujarat at a speed of 8 km per hour. Coastal areas are being heavily affected. The next 36 hours are looking heavy for Gujarat. 5 NDRF teams have been airlifted from Punjab as well. While 5 NDRF teams of Tamil Nadu have been kept on standby. Along with this, an army team has reached Dwarka from Jamnagar to deal with the situation. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a cyclone may hit Gujarat on June 15. Then the administration has been on alert in all the coastal districts of Gujarat. Section 144 has been imposed by the administration as a precautionary measure in coastal areas in Kutch. A heavy current is being seen in the sea of Mandvi, which is causing high waves.
Climate change in most parts of the state
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains due to cyclonic circulation, due to which the weather has turned upside down in most parts of the state since early Monday morning. Heavy rains accompanied by lightning strikes occurred in most parts of the state. At that time, heavy rain started in Jamgar district since morning. In 51 talukas of the state, the Meghraja called for a rally. In which, water was found everywhere in Swatran, Mendara, Upaleta and Junagadh in Khambhalia. Heavy rains lashed Amreli and Jamnagar districts in the afternoon.Also in Valsad and Bhachau, motorists plying on the highway were disturbed by heavy rains along with heavy winds. Khengar and surrounding areas of Rapar also received heavy rains with heavy winds. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain for Kutch, Jamnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka on June 15 and 16. Till June 16, most of the state including Kutch, Jamnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka. Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast in the areas.

With zero casualty approach, the state government has ensured planning for advance rescue-relief and resettlement. 8 thousand crore announced for disaster management by the Centre

Amit Shah has allocated Rs. 8 thousand crore announced 3 major schemes, which include modernization of fire brigades, flood control and prevention of landslides. Currently, the central and state governments are scrambling to deal with Biparjoy. In addition, in the districts of Kutch and Dwarka, which are at the highest risk of cyclones, one of the state governments- Apart from one minister, the Union Minister is also present. State government ministers Rishikesh Patel and Praful Pansheria have been given the responsibility of Kutch district, while in Dwarka, Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi has been given the responsibility.
